We are lucky to be situated in scenic Northallerton, the county town of North Yorkshire. With good links to the A1 artery, we occupy a surprisingly central position in the UK. Always based in Northallerton, we originally set up in the mid-sixties from a small unit before moving to the former three-story Station Master’s house on the railway crossing at Low Gates.

As we continued to grow, we took the important step to relocate to our current home - a purpose-built facility on the town’s main industrial estate - and doubled the capacity to 18,000sq ft shortly after to ensure we had room to scale up and continue to invest in people and infrastructure.

At Mowden, we are proud of our Yorkshire roots and northern heritage and try where possible to support local businesses in the northern region.
